Philosophy and Aims
Christ Church Grammar School emphasises literacy and numeracy skills and achievement in traditional and extra-curricular studies. Modern teaching methods and individual care provide the basis of the school's successful approach. All leadership and extra-curricular activities are available to girls and boys, and our approach to co-education is to provide a naturally tolerant and understanding environment for the pupils.
Individual differences are recognised, allowing for the nurturing and understanding of each pupil's needs. A well-defined yet flexible disciplinary policy includes an intolerance of bullying. Pupils are encouraged to develop research, personal discipline and problem-solving skills through homework, which is a regular part of the year 3 to 6 curriculum.
