Covid 19 Lockdown 6.0 Update, August 16, 2021

August 16, 2021

Dear Parents and Guardians,

By now, you will know that the Victorian Government has extended the current lockdown until midnight Thursday, 2 September. The purpose of this extension is to minimise the movement of people across Melbourne. As a result, new restrictions around who can attend on-site learning are in place and are detailed in the attached letter. We will require supporting documentation such as travel permits for essential workers. If your child has attended on-site in the past, you are required to support your request for future attendance. Details are included in the letter and on the request form – the link is in the letter. We hope our community remains safe and well during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Kind regards, Keith Newman
Deputy Principal

ELC Restrictions as of August 21, 2021

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Please find a letter regarding the changes to the Christ Church Grammar School ELC program in light of the announcements this morning by the Premier, Daniel Andrews, and the Victorian Chief Health Officer,  Brett Sutton. There will be communications in the next 24 hours regarding the online program for CCGS ELC students. Please keep a watch for these emails tomorrow. After reading the attached letter, if you have any questions regarding on-site supervision for ELC students, please get in touch with the Head of Early Years, Jane Eddy.

Kind regards, Keith Newman, Deputy Principal
