Christ Church Grammar School has partnerships with various community organisations and causes.
Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre
As part of our ongoing partnership with the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre (ONJ Centre), CCGS will annually take part in Olivia’s Walk for Wellness each October.
The ONJ Centre is a leading cancer centre that provides whole-person cancer care through world class treatment and evidence-based wellness therapies. CCGS alum, Dame Olivia Newton-John lent her name to the Cancer and Wellness Centre at the Austin Hospital because she believed passionately in its philosophy of wellness. Established in 2012, the Centre continues Olivia’s vision of combining science and compassion to support every person through their cancer journey.
All funds raised go towards wellness programs that reduce the side effects of cancer treatment and help people with cancer to thrive.
On Thursday, 16 October 2025, our school community embraced this year’s vibrant theme, “Let’s Get Physical,” with an 80s-inspired Wellness Walk at Fawkner Park. The event was bursting with colour, energy, and retro flair—complete with music, legwarmers, sweatbands, and plenty of smiles.
Together, we raised an incredible $8,339 in support of the ONJ Centre, continuing Olivia’s legacy of hope, healing, and wellness.
2/14th Australian Field Regiment
In 2007 CCGS formed a partnership with the 2/14th Australian Field Regiment through the Adopt An Ex-Service Organisation Program, administered by the Shrine of Remembrance.
Each year our students have opportunities to experience the traditions surrounding commemoration and remembrance, to reflect upon the importance of peace, to develop historical knowledge and understanding, and to form relationships with our veterans and their families.
