Your child will find their inner artist, celebrate their sporting prowess and ignite their curiosity through our specialist programs. This is their chance to find their passions and explore, be challenged, learn new skills and embrace the fun and joy of discovery.
We offer extra-curricular activities for different year levels and cater for many different interests. These programs are offered before school, at lunchtime and after school. Our extra-curricular programs complement and enrich classroom learning.
Chess Club
- Chess Club operates before school.
- Students in Prep to Year 2 meet as a junior section and students from Years 3 - 6 form the senior section.
- The students are supported each week by coaches from Chess Ideas and participate in Interschool chess competitions throughout the year.
Art Club
- Our popular Art Club runs in Terms 2 and 3.
- Students enjoy spending their free time working on individual and group art projects. Many of these projects are displayed throughout the school and at the Art Show.
Coding Club
- Computer coding is run after school by an external provider, Invent the World, which offers computer courses for children from Years 3 - 6 based on programming, engineering, robotics, and game design.
Karate Club
- Karate is an all-encompassing mind, body, and spirit activity that teaches children how to improve their mental strength as well as physical strength and coordination - and all whilst having fun.
- This club is offered by an external provider, Art of Defence, on Tuesday and Friday at lunchtime.
Street Dance
- This program is run by Kids Unlimited. Street dance is all about self-expression, creativity, and having a good time.
- Students will learn a range of street dance moves and work towards creating a presentation piece each term.
Soccer Club
- Students learn to play soccer in a positive and safe environment.
- This club, offered by Kids Unlimited, provides coaching, guidance, and encouragement to help students learn essential soccer skills while creating great friendships with teammates.
Robotics Club
- Robotics is where the screen meets the machine! This program, run by Kids Unlimited, is a fantastic combination of coding and engineering and a great next step along the digital pathway of learning.
- Children who learn robotics typically develop greater skills to:
- understand the importance of clear instructions to achieve results
- use their lateral, logical, and computational skills
- develop their problem-solving skills
