Christ Church Grammar School (CCGS) is seeking a proactive and skilled ICT Support and Systems Administrator to join our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team. This role provides technical support and guidance to staff, students, and parents, while ensuring the smooth operation of the School’s IT systems and infrastructure.

IT Environment
The School’s ICT infrastructure is based on both Windows and Apple platforms. With a recent transition to Apple devices across several areas of the School, strong macOS and iOS support skills are essential, alongside proficiency with Windows systems.

Key Responsibilities
The ICT Support and Systems Administrator is responsible for providing high-quality technical support to the School community and for administering, monitoring and maintaining the School’s IT systems and applications. Working closely with the ICT Manager, this role ensures a secure, reliable, and effective technology environment for staff, students, parents and Board/Committee members.
The position also plays a key role in system administration, device management and IT service delivery, and works collaboratively with the School’s technology partners who provide network, server, backup, and repair services.
Technical Support
Provide Level 1/Level 2 technical support and advice across the School to staff, students, parents and Board/Committee members.
Set up and configure IT equipment and onboard new staff.
Deliver training and guidance to staff to promote effective use of technology.
Document IT processes, solutions and user guides to support consistent service delivery.
Support the School’s Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and video conferencing systems and assist with printing and Audio Visual needs.
Diagnose computer hardware problems and perform or organise warranty repairs.
Install, configure and upgrade computer hardware, software, printers and scanners.
Assist in the planning and delivery of IT projects, including device rollouts and application deployments.
Systems Administration
Administer and monitor core systems, including but not limited to:
Windows server and related services.
Microsoft 365 [Azure Active Directory (AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Teams].
Intune and Jamf Pro.
PaperCut Print Management services.
Provide administration and support for applications and platforms used by the School, including the Learning Management System, TASS, School applications and other business/learning systems.
Monitor and maintain the School’s computing environment to ensure performance, reliability and security.
Test, evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance the School’s operations.
Develop and document IT processes, procedures and solutions.

Qualifications and Experience
A relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree).
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in an IT support/systems administration role.
Demonstrated experience with:
Apple device support and systems administration.
Windows server administration and maintenance.
Microsoft 365, AD, Azure AD, Exchange Online, Intune, Jamf Pro and PaperCut Print Management.
Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP and firewalls).
Hardware and software troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, iPads and peripherals.
VoIP phone systems.
Experience supporting users in an educational environment (preferred but not essential).
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection practices.
Strong organisational and documentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users.
A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or the ability to obtain one
